An open seat isn't always a usable seat. Capacity in a family child care home depends on the ages of the children in care that day, so you set what you offer.

From registration to your first drop-in request
Most programs are listed the same afternoon they register. Everything below lives in the provider portal at expert.enrollpass.com.
Register your program
Your license number and type, address, hours and licensed capacity, plus a short description and the details families look for: languages spoken, outdoor space, potty-training support.
Link services to age groups
Each service you offer for drop-ins is linked to one age group, with the sessions you'll take (full day, morning or afternoon) and your day rate for each. Families only see age groups with an active linked service.
Release the seats you want to release
Set a weekly pattern, then override single dates on the calendar when a child is out or you're closed. The portal warns you if a pattern would exceed the free capacity you've entered.
Accept the requests that fit
A request shows the child's age, allergy flags and how complete their record is. Accept it and the full Pass is shared with you and the family is charged; decline and nothing happens.
What providers ask us
Who can join the EnrollPass network?
Programs with a current California child care license: small and large family child care homes and child care centers. Coverage is densest in Santa Clara County, and programs elsewhere in California can register now.
How do I list my daycare?
Register at expert.enrollpass.com with your license number, link each service you offer to the age group it accepts, set your sessions and day rates, then release seats, either as a weekly pattern or date by date on the calendar. Families searching nearby see those seats and request them.
Do I have to accept every booking?
No. You set which days you offer, how many seats and for which ages, and you accept or decline each request. You remain the licensee and make every admission decision.
How does EnrollPass know I'm not over capacity?
The portal holds your licensed capacity and hours, and flags a weekly pattern that would release more seats than you have free in a morning or afternoon block. The figure it checks against is the one you enter, so keeping it current is part of your own capacity planning, not a substitute for it.
Does EnrollPass replace my licensing responsibilities?
No. EnrollPass assembles and delivers the records you need in the format your license expects, so the file is complete before the child arrives. Reviewing the file, admitting the child and keeping records remain your responsibility under Title 22.
How does the shared substitute pool work?
Substitutes with an active California criminal record clearance can be associated with more than one licensed facility. Each member licensee files the clearance transfer for their own facility in advance using form LIC 9182, so a substitute is already associated with your home before they're ever needed. Will other providers see my enrollment or pricing?
No. Each provider's occupancy, pricing and enquiries stay private to that provider. Bookings are offered under published rules that are the same for every member.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing to join. There is no sign-up fee, no monthly fee and no charge for listing seats. On a booking you accept, founding members keep 85% and EnrollPass keeps 15%, taken out of that booking rather than billed to you. If no one books, you pay nothing. You set your own day rates, and payments from families are processed by Stripe.
What is a founding member, and what happens later?
Founding membership is limited to 25 more licensed programs and closes on December 31, 2026, or earlier if the places fill. Founding members keep 85% of every booking for as long as they stay with EnrollPass, and are never moved onto a later rate. Programs that join after the group closes keep 80%.
Why only 25 more places?
A drop-in network only works when a family has real options within a short drive, so we are building depth in one area before breadth. A small first group also means we can set the paperwork standard, the booking rules and the substitute pool rules with the providers in it, rather than handing them down.
Is there a subscription or a minimum?
No. There is no subscription, no minimum number of seats and no minimum number of bookings. A month where you release nothing costs you nothing, and your listing stays up.
Do I pay anything if I decline a request?
No. A request you decline, or one that lapses because you did not respond, costs you nothing. The family is not charged either.
When do I get paid?
The family is charged when you accept the request, not when they send it. Cancellation terms are shown to the family before they pay.
I'm not a licensed provider. Can I still take part?
