Childcare's hardest problem isn't finding a seat. It's the paperwork between you and it.
EnrollPass is a parent-held child enrollment record and a network of licensed childcare providers that makes drop-in and last-minute childcare possible on the same day.
Why we started
EnrollPass started inside a licensed family child care home in Sunnyvale, California. From that side of the door, the same thing happened again and again: a family needed care today, there was room today, and the day was over before the enrollment paperwork was.
California licensing rightly requires a complete record before a child is admitted: who to call, consent for emergency treatment, immunizations and more. Those records are almost always the same from one program to the next. They just aren't portable.
So we're building a record that is. Parents own it. Licensed providers receive it complete. And a network of neighbouring programs can finally offer the seats they have, on the days families need them.

Four-year-olds moved to TK
Universal transitional kindergarten drew four-year-olds out of community programs, whose fees had helped cover the cost of younger children, according to the UC Berkeley Center for the Study of Child Care Employment.
Seats sit empty while families search
Programs that stay open need every seat filled. Families need care on specific days. EnrollPass connects the two without a new round of paperwork each time.
How we'll operate
Parents own the record
Released only with the parent's consent, only to the provider they choose, and withdrawable.
Licensees stay responsible
We assemble and deliver complete records. Licensed providers review them and make every admission decision. We will never claim otherwise.
Neutral between providers
One fee schedule, published booking rules, and no member sees another's data.
Dense before big
We grow area by area, so families always have real options within a short drive.
